I know this has been covered somewhere in these forums--but what is the best free image hosting site out there? Or rather, what free image hosting sites, period, are there? I am too lazy/poor to make a website right now, alas. :? Thanks.

I use http://picserver.student.utwente.nl/ . 15mb of space 200kb max file size.
Haha... of course right as I post this my avatar says picserver is down at the moment.. maybe you dont want to use this one.

I suggest Photobucket. Walataga has a 1 meg limit. That limit can be pretty constraining.
