I think that the lighter background was ALOT better. Now you have to fight to make her hair look black. I do like the other new stuff, but changing the background back to a lighter color will vastly improve the painting.

You will find yourself, I'm sorry if I sounded like a jerk. I didn't know that you were still a teenager.

(I'm reminded of all the ninja turtles that I used to copy.)

I suggest you to get the amazing artbook who went out in 1993 for the Toriyama Exhibition. I had that book and it was awesome (I stupidly traded it for some Dragonball comics that you couldn't get at the time.) I would kill for that book now. That Dr. Slump parody was awesome! (I like the Star Wars...

I LOVE the Cheshire Cat sketch. (I think the sketch is a little better than the color finish)

Thanks for the comments. I like doing brushwork, but I'm struggling with trying to do Black and White only stuff. I don't want to use coloring as a crutch, but would you guys say that the one with color looks better than the line drawing ones?

I agree, the smallest circle is the best, and you should increase the kerning. Very cute and very nice.

That painting is nice, but isn't it a little too green for Idaho? (I just moved away from Rexburg.) Actually, the painting is really nice, and is just as depressing as Idaho.

Love it.... Love it... with the simplicity of your style you would think that you wouldn't care much about lighting, but your lighting is amazing. I love your use of light lines.

I remember liking the painting you had in the show that didn't win. The one with the guy with the gun. I did like the other one, but I really liked the gun one. And thanks for noticing my piece. It had the little robot that is my picture on it. I wasn't sure that anyone looked at it. (I printed it o...

I saw The Cooler at Sundance in 2004. After I thought about it, I realized that the movie was crappy. When you take away the sex stuff and the crazy violence, there was nothing left of the movie worth talking about. Plus is was awkward to see William H. Macy's balls on the big screen then see him in...
