I really loved it too! It kind of reminded me a little bit of the Paper Bag Princess. I can't wait to see the final illustrations. :)

Jellaby - "Drawing"

A little Jellaby strip I did for Comics Festival!, one of the comics that they were giving out for Free Comic Book Day last month...

And a little more seriously (but not really):

"Move Your Feet" by Junior Senior
"It's Not the End of the World?" by Super Furry Animals
"Sledgehammer" by Peter Gabriel (the video has aged remarkably well)

I've only read a couple of Trondheim's books, but the ones I have read ( Mister O and A.L.I.E.E.E.N. ) literally had me laughing out loud. The guy has a truly warped sense of humour. Case in point: the incredibly terrible thing that happens to the cute little alien puppy dog thing on page 2 of ALIEE...

Because you're using the '&' character in your filename, you'll need to use the URL-encoding equivalent . In this case, '&' = '%26', so the url you should be using instead should be: http://www.kevinrichter.com/MaxGorilla/M%26TGGS_01_033.jpg Most browsers are smart enough to figure out the encoding ...

I love that his last three films (including this one) have been a zombie/horror flick, a kid's movie (I personally thought Millions was criminally underrated), and now sci-fi. He always seems to be able to jump through different genres with such ease, and to do each of them so well, well that's just...

Ugh. Sorry, but this looks like it's going to be a complete trainwreck of a film. Bay's films have been on a steady decline (did anyone actually see Bad Boys 2? I liked the first one as brainless entertainment, but the second one had SO many problems, I didn't even think it was possible to mess up a...

Kazu's talked about all of those things in quite some detail in his past interviews, such as this interview from way back in 2004 , or the Flight 2 Popimage roundtable , for example. You'll also be able to dig up a lot more links about our processes, etc. in the Flight interview section of this board.
