Not just brilliant... brilliantly brilliant.

It's perfect, I love the girl's expression at the end.

Hey, don't worry Jinx, I share the same nervousness here. But if you hang around a place like this with so many talented artists, it can only help. So as your title implies, these are just sketches - I think the best starting advice is to study anatomy/the human form and just practice practice pract...

Beautiful stuff, em! I like the legs on Roxy, and your blending is amazing.
If you're looking for any small crits, the nose on Lynch seems slightly skewed on the face, like it's out of line with the mouth... but I probably don't really know what I'm talking about.

Fantastic :)

househatke wrote:Hey this is really nice. It has a classic spiderman feel to it, but it's also very crisp.

It might benefit from a hint of a cityscape in the yellow area. Just my thoughts though.
I totally agree. The other spiderman picture on your website is awesome too, nice style.

Thanks guys! My concern is as follows: What I have here is the result of maybe four hours of work... is that way too long for what I have in the end? I know some of it is because I'm still getting used to using a tablet, but looking at the end-product I can't help but feel that all the other digital...

Se7en

My third exercise in trying to get used to this fangled tablet: http://www.maniac-frog.no-ip.com/mfport/sketchbook/se7en.gif I accidentally saved the most recent version of the file a little small, so the only detail shot I can give is missing a few things (including one of the bandage strips above ...

If you're done with the piece, you don't necessarily have to rework it unless you'd just like to visualize how it should look. Just retain the idea and try to apply what you learn with each new picture you make.

The more you draw, the more it can only help.

This... This is... Awesome!! I really like this, well done. On page 3 there's conflicting spellings of the drunk's name, Macloogan and Macgloogan. I hope the proper one is the latter, because that extra "g" just makes it so much more comical. :) The dialogue, the characters, the wagon. Hee hee, the ...

Much better size, and as you've noticed Geocities doesn't allow direct linking (I think there's a way to get around that, but it might be easier to just use a free image host like the one I mentioned before). For the image itself, it's a neat character. The feet are kind of awkward, it looks like yo...
