Videogames + Comics = Lifemeter!

Hey everyone, As of today, the Lifemeter site is finally up and running! Most cartoonists I know love videogames and looking through a lot of their sketchbooks I was always excited to see people draw their takes on characters that exist only in sprites, pixels or polygons. So the idea behind Lifemet...

Awesome! Mr. Roman I had the pleasure of talking to you last year at SPX and while I didn't purchase anything from you, I loved your stuff none the less. And very much enjoyed the comic about your engagement. Thanks, Rickey!! Today starts a new Agnes story on the website drawn by Raina! http://www....

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109912/ Anybody ever see "A Gnome Named Gnorm" starring Anthony Michael Hall, Jerry Orbach and a freaky animatronic creature? It was directed by Stan Winston! I think I have a thing for movies with animatronics or puppets as main characters. Even the bad ones like Howard...

Agnes Quill online

I wanted to let people know that I have a new web comic over on my Webcomics Nation site. It's called Agnes Quill and is sorta of a teen detective series mixed with ghost and zombies and stuff. The first storyline is drawn by Jason Ho who is an awesome illustrator who I went to SVA with. We actually...

If you watch the Kangaroo Jack movie in the right context it can be pretty amazing. Especially every scene with Christopher Walken. I read somewhere that Christopher Walken once turned down the part of Han Solo in Star Wars (thinking it sounded like a pretty bad movie), before Harrison Ford took it...

I'm not kidding!

My friends and I laughed our asses off through that whole film. In the theater!

Well things will certainly have more impact if you've seen the 14 episodes obviously. But it's cool that so many people are saying it works if you see it cold.

Loved the movie. Didn't answer some questions I had hoped it would, and it asked some whole new ones. Wished there was some story development for the Blue Hands but I really enjoyed the story I got. My one complaint: Mr Universe seemed tacked on with a post-it note. It's like he was supposed to be ...

Serenity!

Most fun I had at the movies this year :D It was cool being a part of such and enthusiastic audience. And it's getting some mostly positive reviews: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/serenity/ People who came with that never saw the original Firefly DVD set seemed to enjoy it. They certainly laughed a...
