Re: Sketch thread

Hey Marooned! Thank you. I haven't yet, BUT, I've just downloaded Camtasia. I'm going to test it out, and if I like it, I'll bu it and do recordings of my work process! That would be great. I just downloaded it myself and played around, very nice, very easy to use. You can record your work, then go...

Re: Sketch thread

Love your work Pascal. Have you ever done any posts on your process for doing these illustrations? I would love to try some in this style. It's hard to figure out what brush settings you are using and such. I assume it's all digital. If you were ever up for that I would love to see it.

Green by Tom Dell'Aringa, Payload by Steve Ogden

In about a month I'll be taking pre-orders for my first Marooned book. In the book will be two short stories. The first is something I had originally done for a group that was going to do an anthology for charity but it kind of fell apart. But I finished it anyway and it will be in my book. It's a l...

Re: Hotel Metropolitan

Very nice stuff. You've got a bit of a Moebius feel going on, which is great, with the detail and the stippling/linework. Nice stuff.

Wow, beautiful work. There's nothing like seeing someone who can really use colors like this. Awesome.

Re: Fablewood Webcomic

I like the character design of those....characters. I'm not sure what they are! But it's cool looking. I've been wondering about this since I heard about it awhile back. I'll be checking it out.

Here's something a little different from the average Marooned strip. It was fun to do.

Re: Two Weeks of Desert Re-launch

That's a really great style. A little hard to read on your site with the lightboxing, it would be nice to have a regular comic archive to dig through. But it looks fantastic, great lines and color choices and really fun character designs.

Re: Semmie the Forest gnome [Updated 28 aug]

If you want a critique, I'd say it's feeling a bit flat. Your avoidance of black and use of all these desaturated colors kind of gives the impression that everything is in the front frame of the panel. I think you can still get the effect you want, but add some darker shadows and hues to introduce a...
