Though I can't say much for the regularity of the 2 comics below, they are entertaining in their different ways: DC's All Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder by Frank Miller and Jim Lee notes: Lee's artwork is a work of ... well ... art! Miller does a great job a writing duties, but one critique: l...

RE>> SPOILER ALERT! WATCH OUT!! "I can't believe how Po defeated Tai Lung! It seemed to counter the whole direction that the story was going in with the "secret" of the Dragon Scroll to have the finger pinching move actually be a magic weapon. And so, what? Did Tai Lung just blow up?" ------ My daug...

Definitely a great graphic novel prospect. You should read Ender's Shadow. It's the exact same time period as Ender's Game but from Bean's perspective. It's fun to review the two together; you discover the drama Bean was going through at flight school unbeknownst to Ender.

Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card

I must say this is my all-time favorite sci-fi novel. Ender's Shadow is wonderful as well (Bean rocks). Would've loved to see EG made into a movie, but how do you get a bunch of kid actors to talk like super-intelligent adults? I think Haley Joel Osment could've play Ender (right around the time of ...

Looking good, Steve. I'm just catching up on this thread and it's awesome seeing the evolution of Cassie. I think you've found that happy medium you were seeking for her. Kudos on all the hard work.

Nice technique. But watch out, you're dating yourself with this kind of reference. What's sad is I get it! :) I work with 18-22 year olds and I find I get a blank stare much of the time when I make a reference to original Star Trek.

thirdeyeh: I've found my most productive moments early in morning before the house wakes up. I remember when staying up 'til 2am (or pulling all nighters) in college was nothing but a chicken wing. That schedule can be really trying on a family however. Now I find my most productive moments in the s...

I agree with Mac. I have 5 kids and a sweetheart, and some things have had to be sacrificed a bit for the bigger picture. More recently I'm at a place in life where I have more time to devote to my projects, and at best it's getting in a little time each day to move things along. I cherish the time....
