Re: Kevin and the Golden Temple

I love the whimsical feel of this. Seems like a fun idea, and fun story and art! The main monster's design is kind of cool and different than what's been done before too.

Re: MYTH - Sci-Fi/Fantasy Graphic Novel

Gee thanks guys! I'm stoked that people are actually liking this. I've been meaning to add more pages to this thread...but I got a bit side-tracked this last week with freelance work and throwing together an illustration portfolio for a job interview (yipee!). Anyhow, here are a couple more pages......

Dude, I freaking love this comic. Just thought I would say so. I can relate, the artwork is solid and fun, and the humor is great. Please keep doing this!

MYTH - Sci-Fi/Fantasy Graphic Novel

Hi All! So I've decided to start posting art for the graphic novel submission that I've been working on. Kinda nervous as this is the first time that I've posted anything about the book online, other than my blog. Hopefully I don't suck TOO bad  . The plan is to finish up the proposal (complet...

Digitally Drawing Comics

So I recently began reading The DC Comics Guide To Digitally Drawing Comics... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0823099237/ref=ox_ya_oh_product I've been trying to find ways to streamline my current process of creating a graphic novel and the idea was that, drawing completely digitally could be the ...

Re: "FDTN": The Sprint To The End - Sneak Peak

That is some serious accomplishment there. Once you're done, do you plan to ever try printing the whole thing out in any form, or will this be an online GN only?

Hey, thanks for the replies and encouragement! It's nice to know that there are others out there with similar goals. ph: Yeah, the economy is pretty brutal right now. I didn't realize how much it would effect everyone. I actually just recently lost my job at an animation studio because of it. That s...

Graphic Novel- Not sure where to go from here

So, just to give a little background... I used to draw comic books all of the time and even had a few of them published. But, though I've continued to draw, I haven't drawn an entire book in a long while now. I've got my story, y'know, the one that I HAVE TO TELL. I've wanted to do this story as a g...

I say, try to get an agent or go with a comic book publishing company. That's the plan I have for my own stuff anyway. Seems to be the most direct route. Build up momentum and reader base doing smaller stories with the same characters. Use these to pitch to agents, comic book publishers like Image o...

I'm a previz animator for a feature film. My real love though is writing and drawing my own stories as comics. Not sure how realistic it is to believe that one day I'll be able to do it as my full-time job. I'd be curious to know if anyone on this board has been able to make comics a full-time caree...
