The Snake The Cross The Crown

Anyone a fan of the snake the cross the crown? I've been listening to them for a while on pandora, but finally ordered their latest album, Cotton Teeth. This album is just great folk/country tinged indie southern rock. I also like that there's a story in the liner notes that precedes the lyrics, and...

Oh man I like this a lot. I had an idea to push it more towards that old japanese print feel. In photoshop, I put a Sepia photo filter of 100% on it, and using the texturizer option had scaling 50% and relief 4. What do you think? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v438/flatfoot001/samuraipic_filtere...

Hey. New strip. I have a question though. The first one was the original strip, but I thought that it was lacking pacing and it crammed too much information into the second panel, so I stretched it out to another panel in the second one. Does that work better? It feels less congested and rushed to m...

I kind of liked the supposed production sketches of the monster on Google better. It looked like a mutant whale with legs.

Thanks, Seth. I'm glad you like them.

I'm still experimenting with what I like. Some strips don't have a lot of action, so I don't really see a natural need for shadow. I thought coloring would add interest in those cases.

New strip. I think I've found the fastest and most convenient way to do these yet. Before, I was just doing them straight in Photoshop, and I'd have to go back and forth in order to get the line work just right. For this one, I instead pencil roughed it on paper, scanned that in, then 'inked' it in ...

I saw Cloverfield yesterday, which I thought was great, but recently I watched Sunshine by Danny Boyle (28 Days Later). It's set in 2057, where the sun is burning out, and a team of astronauts have been sent to the sun with a giant thermonuclear bomb that they will use to restart it. I totally misse...

I've been playing Mass Effect since around last week. I'm probably 2/3 done, and I'm already a multi-millionaire. My advice is not to go straight through the main quest, but explore as many systems and planets as possible, mining for minerals and other items. Plus I'm a Vanguard, so my shotgun skill...

Well, I had a break from my strip during my University's break, so I'm back at it. I've also taken some baby steps in placing blacks for this strip. I'm not sure which version I like. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v438/flatfoot001/gutentagstrip_15_webready.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...

I checked out Bluehost and it's pretty comparable to ixwebhosting. Not sure which one to go with. I basically do want a lot of storage and bandwidth, even though I may not use it. I want to make a site that can house all my projects, and link to all of them. Would those individual projects then be c...

WWWWebhosting

I was just curious which webhosts you guys who have your own websites use. I would like to start putting my stuff online, but I'm not sure which host has the best features.

My friend had a domain under ixwebhosting, which seemed pretty decent, but I wanted to see what you guys use.
