Thanks again, Mr. Average. Yeah, I agonize over pacing pretty often. I think doing a 4 panel strip challenges me to get it right in such a small space, as opposed to a larger strip.

Thanks so much, man. That's the choice I make at every step of the strip--how to draw something simpler without losing recognition, how to make the dialogue simpler without losing necessary detail.

yeah, thanks for the encouragement. :D

good stuff man. i'm liking the color and i think you've done a good job separating background and foreground but having it work well together. 6 books huh? that's cool. my friend's working on a similarly long story that i'm drawing for, and we're trying to figure out which route to go in terms of di...

I've been wanting to see this for a while. I might wait till it comes out for rental. Recently, Amy and I also watched Sunshine , Danny Boyle's previous film. I thought it was stunningly beautiful, and it was a superb suspense thriller. The ending didn't bother me the way it did some of my friends, ...

I thought this was very interesting. I don't really mind having to click ahead panel by panel, only because there are some times when reading a traditional comic book where I will unintentionally spoil a buildup of panels by instinctively looking at the next page. It's because both pages (or panels)...

I'm thinking of switching up the format for my strip, but not sure if I want to have it be a consistent number of panels like it is now, or have it change each time to accommodate the story. Anyways, two new ones: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v438/flatfoot001/gutentagstrip_62_webr.jpg http://im...

I've seen it. I didn't think I'd like it going into it, but the story kept my interest the entire film, and I ended up enjoying it. I think it's almost 3 hours long too.

Not sure this post will stay here, but I can help you out. You'd want to use Photoshop more for photos and scanned images that you want to manipulate and mess with. Also, if you do comics, it's best for cleaning up scanned line art and coloring them. Photoshop deals with pixelated images, so you sho...

I love those two slackers! Thanks, Andrew. Maybe they actually do get a lot of work done, but we only see them when they have time to slack off. hm? No probably not. They're always like that.
