GUTEN TAG (*updated 12/24/09*)

Hey everybody. This is a strip I started primarily for the exercise of doing comics daily or close to daily as possible. It's a basic gag strip that I try to draw everyday in class. Here's the first 9 that I inked up. I've got some more on the way, so I'll try to get those up when they're inked. htt...

Eisner/Miller

I just finished reading Eisner/Miller yesterday. It's basically the transcription of a series of discussions between Will Eisner and Frank Miller from 2002 or so on the various aspects of the comics medium: form, content, art in relation to story, breaking into the business, publishing, dealing with...

It was pretty disappointing to me. I just wanted to see Spidey and Venom fight the whole time, not this Sandman guy.

Free Comic Book Day

Alright, Free Comic Book Day is May 5th! Who's excited? I know I am. I had 3 stores ready to hit up, I had the comics I wanted picked out, and then I realized I would be in China that week... :( Which is actually very awesome, and I cannot wait to go, but I'm a little bummed that I'm going to miss F...

Wow, this is really good. :D
I'm a bit interested in more silent comics right now, and I love how you make excellent use of the comic being displayed vertically as one scrolls down the page.
Can't wait to see what happens next.

I'm in this wierd cycle of longing/inertia/despair myself. I think about drawing and making comics all day while I'm at work, but when I get home I can't get started because I haven't planned enough, or once I've started if I don't have some sort of finished thing quickly I lose momentum, but if I ...

Yes, I love this show. Compelling drama, deep character development, it's great. Aside from agreeing with all the things you guys said, I think it's the most realistic and relative sci-fi shows ever. I hardly even consider it sci-fi anymore.

Here's a new this week...Also I've been brainstorming recently about the unique personalities of objects and was wondering if any of you thought any particular thing would talk a particular way? Do one with a toilet. I'd imagine a toilet would have a deep, gurgly voice. Or a mountain. I have no ide...

I much preferred the first one. The gag ones don't seem to get me any closer to what the uncovering the legend of Gunwhale. Some of them are funny (particularly liked the pirates around the bonfire one) but I'm more interested in the seemingly comic epic that was started in the first one. All in al...

Wow, this thread died... I decided just to post all that I had.
