These are really great! I love the simplicity of the idea and the variety of things you've been able to do with them.

This one was particularly fun! It's impressive that you can tell a story so clearly without having to use panel borders to break things up.

I sort of feel guilty... but I can't help chuckling at these.

"Did he score well?"

You definitely have some kind of groove going here.

I really like the loose feel of your inking on this. It makes it a lot of fun.

Just a cool little fantasy story!

One small suggestion... if I didn't know what the strip was about, I really would think that the first word balloon in the second panel was coming from the guy, not the cup. You might want to make it point more obviously at the cup, or even use a different color font or word balloon outline for the ...

Thanks for the feedback, Neil. You're right about the white outlines and the lack of surprise. The fact that he lets himself get caught up in his imagination is the main thing I want to get across about the character. But I wish I could do a better job of surprising people. The next few pages kind o...

I really hope this never happens to me.

I'd probably still drink it, though.

Cool... I can only imagine...

You might want to size down your pages for posting here.

This seems like a neat idea that you could do a lot of different things with.

ROOK CITY is BACK!

Hey, guys. This is a newer weekly webcomic I am doing called ROOK CITY. There are 11 pages so far. You can read more by clicking the image and then clicking on First. http://threetreesstudios.com/comics/rookcity/rookcity11.jpg If you're wondering why this page is not standard comic dimensions, it's ...

Well, the action all reads pretty well. Some of it is pretty unrealistic as far as slapping a sword away, missing a guy from few feet away, etc. but that goes with the feel of the story. At first, I didn't really dig how you did faces in close-up, but by the later pages, that changed. That being sai...

I like how it's a totally different feel from the first one as far as story, but her character seems just as spunky. I also like the colors on both pages, but page two really looks good to me for some reason. I guess it's a little more subtle and varied. Nice stuff...keep going! -Seth Wolfshorndl

The top of page 5 where the car crashed was a little confusing at first.

Some parts made me chuckle. Kind of reminds me of a slightly twisted Yogi Bear (what with all the Ranger stuff and all)

Nice way to lead up to that ending with pretty "sincere" dialogue first.

Pretty good coloring, too.
