The continuing webcomic at http://www.rookcity.com ! A new page every Tuesday (or late Monday night, actually). This is actually the first Rook City story. You can tell it's not as polished as the newer ones, but it's an important piece of the overall tale. Since this is an older tale, we'll be post...

Glad this improved your day, guys! This is definitely inspired by Chuck Jones, the master.

Thanks for the helpful feedback about storytelling. This is the first time anyone mentioned that particular transition. Most of the time, I've lost more people with the "viewscreen" panels at the end.

I like pages 3 and 4 quite a bit. The "Steal" sound effect made me smile. Nice coloring throughout. For some reason the painting threw me off (thought it was a window at first), but then I figured it out.

Nice work, man.

These are fun to look at. Loose and natural feeling. The style really fits for journaling.

I'm really glad to hear that, actually. It was originally called "Edge City", but we found out that was already used by a couple of comics. I tried to think of something without the "City" in it, because there are so many strips with that in the title. But the only thing that stuck in my head and so...

Such great variety! You really deal with a lot of different types of humor here. And that last one is even poignant.

Your art is so fun to look at... These are really consistently great.

Here's the last page of this current story... but remember Rook City is still continuing as a weekly webcomic after this week. I'll post at least the first pages of the next story next week. http://threetreesstudios.com/comics/rookcity/rookcity14.jpg Thanks again for all the helpful comments so far,...

The first one is good. I liked how you had a variety of objects that time.

The second one here is probably my favorite so far. Not only is the lamp's dialogue funny, but the shrink introduces some doubt into the situation.

Cool stuff, man.

I love the flat colors, man! Those first few pages really REALLY worked for me! What a cool way to draw people into your world. The two main characters are very interesting. I want to know more about them. The creatures are fun. This is just really strong work that is incredibly fun to look at. I'm ...
