An entire film made to look like a bad home movie? It's a creative concept, but I doubt I'll be able to sit through it.

How about teaching more of the fundamentals so people can develop their own techniques. For example, color theory basics. Maybe explain how the background color takes its own color away from the foreground and replaces it with its complimentary color. Stuff like that. There's plenty of tutorial site...

If my dreams had a soundtrack, there would definitely be a few Sigur Rós songs to it. Their music really sparks my imagination. I can't agree more about the acting performances given in Pride and Prejudice , but the cinematography alone, is amazing. You can really get an idea of who the characters a...

I think Amy has wonderful taste in movies. Well, everything except for The Muppets... Vanilla Sky Life's full of choices and this movie reminds me that even the smallest decisions can have huge consequences. And the soundtrack rocks! The Never Ending Story It's my favorite movie as a child. If I eve...

Lately, I've been using an average ballpoint pen. No real preference. I just enjoy the "sketchy" appearance and the layering of thin lines. Sometimes I also use a 5/0 spotter brush with Speedball India Ink and a filbert for filling. For quick touch up details and lettering, I use Artline or Micron P...

I bought Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones, but I haven't got around to reading it yet. Work and school keeps me pretty busy.

Let me know if the Earthsea books are any good. :)

Re: Windows Vista

Thanks for the heads up, j. I was thinking of upgrading on my regular computer, but I knew it was best to find out if it's worth buying through personal experiences rather than the hype in PC magazines. When I get my new laptop a month from now (hopefully) I'm just going to stick with good ol' Wind...

Maybe you should revert back to XP until the dust settles and drivers come out for all the peripherals. It was actually already installed on my new computer. I had a choice between Windows XP and Vista and I opted for Vista. I've had it for about a month now and I'm actually fine with it. I pretty ...

It's gonna be in summer? I though we couldnt get it until 2009 because of some distribution rights or stuff... ^^ That's a great news! We'll have to wait until 2009 here in the US because the Sci-Fi Channel currently holds rights to the title. I was referring to the UK release on August 3, 2007. 2 ...

That's more than I thought. I wonder who's recruiting who?

There's a few studios in Portland I wouldn't mind visiting. If you get the chance, Neil, please post pictures! :)
