no, i'm afraid it is not. i find Flight to be extremely boring overall, with some notable exceptions. sure, as a display of talented graphic artists it is a great book and i can understand your need to drool. but story wise it is seriously lacking (once again, with some notable exceptions). i rarel...

I don't know what process you're using to produce the cover, but is it possible to have a big white square where the image gets printed so it shows up better? Or have one of those covers with a square cut out of the middle where an image can show through? As for the yellow-and-red combination, I say...

The next printer I buy will be a laser printer rather than an inkjet. They cost more to start with, but the cost of ink in the long run is much less. Especially if you print a lot of stuff. Of course I don't know anything yet about the quality of the prints from various laser printers. Jonathon Dalt...

How about Akiko? Perhaps not as well drawn as some of the ones that have been mentioned, but the stories are very good and by all accounts very popular with kids. (Actually I take that back. He's won some well-deserved awards for his art, it's just that it's not always consistently great). Jonathon ...

i hope this 3rd volume of Flight will have more substance to it though. i was very disappointed by the first 2. Um... is that sarcasm? My sarcasm detector is turned off at the moment and I can't tell. 'Cause seriously, I go through a major case of inferiority complexes every time I read Flight. And...

I like the first one. Having the image lower down separates the title from your name and makes it less cluttered.

what's the point of the robots anyway? strange comic... You didn't get the robots?? Copper and Fred are, as usual, trying to bring a little fun and happiness an otherwise strict and unhappy bunch of good-for-nothings (in this case, an army of identical robots). Of course most robots being what they...

A short word on proportion. Be careful about making the neck so much wider at the base than at the top. Unless you're drawing Aahnold the thinnest point on most people's neck (at least most girls and non-muscular guys) is actually where the neck meets the shoulders. And her arms are too short compar...

Wonderful as always. I won't even say why it's so wonderful. Words would spoil the mood.

This is the perfect style for war in the bleak wastelands of Russia. Couldn't be better. You must read a lot of European comics.

OK, I'm going to switch things up and do bad news-good news this time. Bad news: The signature is distracting. I suggest either making it smaller or making it a closer colour-match to the background. Also I think your mothman needs to stand a l-i-i-itle bit to the right. Like half a centimetre so he...

I agree with Kazu. And not just because it's his forum. Anything so high-profile in the news is bound to get lots of people throwing money at it. Not that it isn't money well spent- but unless you've got some special skills to lend the people in need (like being a doctor) or you know someone over th...

Image too small for Flight? Wuhh. Remember the days when the comic book industry was Doomed, back-issues were suddenly cheaper than toilet paper no matter how many gold foil holographic covers they pasted on them, shops were closing or converting to gaming stores, and even Stan Lee was convinced tha...

I guess...my friends like this stuff, boltcity members seem not to. It's all relative. Flight forum members are comparing your work to the kind they know people get paid for in publishing or animation or whatever, your friends are comparing it either it their own inability to draw (?) or to the way...
