I've started reading A Mad Tea-Party and am really enjoying it so far. Thanks! Your comic definitely gets better the more I read it. I'm still a bit confused by a couple things, like keeping straight who's who, but it's a pleasant confusion. The kind that makes me want to keep reading so I can sort...

No, there aren't any female centaurs in Greek Mythology as far as I know... That's just because the Ancient Greeks were misogynists. They also didn't have any male harpies or sirens. I see no reason why anyone should follow their rules about the gender of centaurs. Oren, you did a good job of manag...

I think the reason you're worried about her looking like a guy is her neck. Try making it thinner, especially at the base. And girls don't have adam's apples (that's why they're called adam's apples). Everything else looks fine.

i'm not happy with my computer coloring, too and i still have a lot to learn in this area. Maybe you should stick to watercolour instead of computer colour? Or find a way to combine the two? Watercolour is at least as hard a thing to do well as computer colour, if not harder, and your watercolour l...

Very interesting. I have no idea what's going on, but I want to read more. Your style seems very 1980's to me. Which is working for you in a way that I don't want to try and analyse because it's just so perfect.

I like the dark one with the bridge. It looks a bit like those cheesy paintings on silk, only in a good way. Nice colours on the last one, too. If I could offer any humble advice, I might suggest limiting the number of different tools/techniques you use to draw with digitally (but only once you've h...

I really don't know what I'm going to do in university; it'll probably be some sort of I-don't-want-to-sleep-ever double major, or else I'll be forced to make a decision, which I'll undoubtedly regret later, whichever path I choose. Waste of a mind, or waste of a hand? Ugh. Don't knock academic sub...

Cool to see you around here, Jonathan! Well, after somebody stopped drawing my favourite online comic I had to find somewhere else to hang out. But I'm not bitter. Because I discovered the Flight forum. And in a few months I'll be able to buy a very excellent comic called "Sorcerors and Secretaries...

In my entire life I have made less than $500 US from my art. But this thing has gone way beyond just being a "hobby." I recently, perhaps stupidly, turned down a potential offer to be a full-time teacher in a grade 3 class in large part because I knew I would have no more time to draw if I took it. ...

I am so absolutely thrilled by this trend. After so many years of worrying about the impending "death" of comics, the last five years have been such a complete reversal. And comics for kids, not a bad idea all by itself. I've been meaning to write some comics for kids for quite a while now- but all ...

The police are also wondering whether it was arsen now; but I suppose that was bound to come into the mix sooner or later. It was that rotten penguin! I just know it! They say the penguin was one of the losses in the fire, but that's awfully convenient, don't you think? Jonathon Dalton A Mad Tea-Pa...

It took me a minute to spot the fox in the corner. I'm not sure whether this is because his face is a similar colour to her arm band? Or maybe because there's something funny with his eyes? I don't know. Something to think about.

Thanks, everyone. The "future English" is actually just an East London accent with a few foreign words thrown in. I have no idea what English will sound like in the future, but I'm pretty sure it won't sound like the Queen's English. I was thinking of using Jamaican English for the aristocratic acce...
