I have no trouble reading the type. Maybe people just don't know what "Comic Frenzy" is.

My 2 cents: definitely not the last one. The green makes my eyes hurt.

Still loving that lobster. These are the best yet, I think. A bit on spelling, if you're interested. Not that most people who can speak Putonghua are picky about spelling. "Ni wei shua Putonghua ma?" should be "Ni hui shuo Putonghua ma?" and "Edyar" should be "Yi dianr" or possibly "Yi diar." Qishi,...

Especially with graphic novels because most librarians now see a need to fill up the shelves with them (yay!) but many don't know which ones to get (my mom is a librarian and she's asked me for advice on graphic novels before). So... go bug your local librarian!

However, if an artist feels that they're only getting 'light' comments, and want a little more, they can always ask for some crits ("be harsh", "show no mercy", etc.), and I'm certain they'd receive them. It's true. That's what worked for me the last time I posted here. I got lots of great advice b...

Do you draw comics? You should draw comics. These illustrations are very very cool but I really want to know the story that goes along with each one. They seem very story-based.

I really, really like your colour scheme. And the mix of German and English. And especially the one with Bill Clinton and Godzilla (Washington could use more of both right now, I think).

Very cool. Is Jellaby blushing in the fourth panel from the end? And is that a real monster under the bed at the end or something else?

Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! That's Pho King great! I assume Khang already knows about this?

Um... stupid question. I do know what pho is, I recently discovered a good source in East London in fact, but puns aside how do you pronounce it? Po? Fo? Something in between?

To misquote Henry Ford, "You can have it in any colour you want, as long as it's a blackbird."

As still lives go, and it's hard to make a still life interesting, this one's not half bad. Drawing over painting seems to be something that works for you. The school in the first image, the background behind the robot, and the wire-stuff at the top of the last one all improve the pieces they're in....

Nick- I'll admit that the two on the left are a little bit crappy, but the rest don't seem half bad. Come on. Is that the worst you can do? Even the ones that look a bit too much like Sonic the Hedgehog still have a lot of character to them. Noik- Your colouring is- um- interesting. Very distracting...

Everybody's Getting Better All the Time

A while ago someone suggested a thread where people post the old crappy art from their past. Since no one has yet, I'll step up. Here are the rules. Find the oldest, crappiest illustration or comic you can and post it here. If, like me, you have a fragile ego to protect, you can post "before" and "a...

The movie I love to hate the most is a toss-up between two- Independence Day and China Strike Force . Of course there are plenty of movies where Americans save the world for the rest of us, but none so blatant as Independence Day. Where the US president flies around in a fighter jet and, at the end,...
