neil (not niel) invited me here Excellent to have you here, Matthyoo, er, Matthew. I don't know how to express my profound interest in your stuff without terrible cliches like "top notch!", but it is. Your ability to make such beautiful fine lines with a brush is really singular. Everyone check out...

Hi Joanna,

I've perused your website courtesy of Kazu's links, and I really loved it all! I would like to develop a sense of color as advanced as yours eventually. This beatle girl is terrific.

http://neilcomics.com/ghibli.gif This is the bootleg I have, and as far as I know, it's the best one. It pops up on eBay every once in a while, which is where I got it pretty cheaply. It's a professional-looking boxset with all of Miyazaki's pre-"Spirited Away" stuff, as well as "Grave of the Firef...

I'd love to get involved in a project like this... (one that didn't turn out to be a disaster...like the last independant anthology I was involved in)
What happened? :?

Interesting stuff, Kean. I can't wait to see Elephant . The Triplets of Belleville - Fantastic stuff; I think everyone already wants to see this, so I won't reveal much. My friends and I had fun discussing all the details that the others had missed--each frame is jam-packed with loving detail. The S...

Hm the glasses girl seems pretty unattainable too... The bubble girl is kind of dangerous!

Sigh this is really beautiful Kazu.. I'll sheepishly post some of my own comics now.

Kill Bill - A fun, exhilirating pastiche; Kazu's got the right idea. I was disappointed by its incompleteness, but I'll be there for Volume 2. The Animation Show - I already mentioned seeing this in the other thread, but I wanted to reiterate how good it is! The Human Stain - Based on the Philip Rot...
