Oops, I guess I should have posted mine in this thread...

Nice to see you handling a brush, Hope. You're already better than I am. (Darn art school kids!) I like the drawing, it's recognizable.. But feels a bit off.. maybe there's too many lines in your face or something. Ok I'll shut up now.

Terry Gilliam is pretty mediocre. "Brazil" is one of those movies that's fascinating when you're still a kid I guess. I saw it relatively recently and was pretty underwhelmed. I do conceed that "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" is pretty awesome though. And I would have liked to have seen "The Man wh...

Well this one is not offensive, and that's pretty recognizable as Britney Spears. I don't think I get the joke though. :?

Ah, I concur-- Lilo & Stitch is a four-star movie. I was watching this in a store one on of those fantastic Macintosh Cinema Displays, and it was so astounding to watch these characters moving around on what seemed to be real watercolor paintings. Just beautiful stuff... Lilo's collection of fat peo...

Well it doesn't look exactly like me... Some of the details are pretty accurate but the proportions are slightly off. I guess it's vaguely recognizable, hehe.

I thought I mentioned it? Maybe I didn't. Yeah it was really great.. I like the creature that kills its prey by focusing sunlight, like a magnifying glass. The very factual-sounding narrator added an interesting layer to it as well.

Speaking of acting, I was watching 'King of Comedy' (Stephen Chow) the other day and he referred several times to Stanislavsky. That just *made* the film for me, that and the poster of Jeremy Irons he had up on the wall. Haha, excellent movie. The scene where he stomps the guys foot and holds up a ...

You have a nice ambition for detail and storytelling. And I'm a sucker for The Smiths as well. 8)

I think your drawing would develop a lot if you thought about your subjects more three-dimensionally. The characters look kind of flattened...

The art's not bad; I think the style fits. That's the funniest looking ninja I've seen. :D I agree with Kazu... I think you should eliminate the second panel, and just have the caption "What happened to your hand, Jerrio?" under the first. (The contrast between words and pictures would be kinda inte...
