Amazing movie. I'm seeing it 2 more times. This weekend and next (on my annual Pixar-athon birthday viewing.) Loved it. Definitely have to see it again and will watch it in 2D next. The 3D was good, but I did notice the colors weren't as vibrant. I just have a couple dumb complaints about the movie....

Alright, I haven't seen the last movie in a very long time, but here's what I don't understand: Shouldn't Indiana Jones and his dad be immortal, after drinking from the Holy Grail? I remember being consumed with dread at the thought of them getting stuck in a fissure or covered with rubble at the e...

Khang Le Technique Question

A chap on the Bendis Board posted this message, and I thought I'd re-post it here for him. Figured someone here might know how to answer it. [QUOTE=TheAFNYGuy;2431808]One of my favorite stories in my new Flight Volume 2 is "Monster Slayers" by Khang Le. I'm very interested in the style, because I wa...

The movie was just complete eyecandy is all. Wolverine went berzerk ... twice. Jean Grey ripped shit apart, Iceman iced up, and mutant people did mutantly things. Nothing but a huge SFX extraveganza, and a LOT of subplots/motivations left unresolved and unexplored/explained. Line you'll most likely ...

Flogging Molly.

They're good. Kinda Irish punk band.

If I had to describe their sound: Irish Greenday singing drinking/folk songs.

Finding Neverland. Awesome movie. Made me cry near the end and Dustin Hoffman was hillarious in his role. His chemistry/timing with Depp was great. I [heart] Huckabees. Cool movie. I enjoyed it but think it's most definitely overrated. Maybe I'm just refusing to look too deeply into it, but there i...

I wish Watterson would put out a sketch/art book. Something collecting his drawings dealing with the politics of cartooning, and other drawings he did after C&H.

I'd buy two copies.

Priorities!

What's more important, something that only happens once a year, or a random party with your friends and family showering you with gifts?

I'm going to be crawling on Sat. Already told the wife not to make plans cause we're going downtown to roam. I started crawling about two weeks ago. It's fun as hell. I've been trying to post about it on other message boards ( like the bendisboard ) I've also got a few artist friends online to do it...

The Witch makes me think of the Pope. That's a good thing.

These are awesome designs. I saw the others on your site and the less detailled, more animated style really works on this.

They could have cut the Hartnett scenes in the beginning and end. THEY didn't need to be there. Also, If two stories were 45 minutes each, making a 1 1/2hr long movie, which is/WAS the standard running time, then Sin City really didn't need a third story, and scenes didn't need to be cut. Hard Goodb...
