Scraps - Halloween

I always end up with these odd little scraps of paper when I trim my bristol to size. Then (bec I'm a pack-rat) I never know what to do with the leftovers. I've decided to try and use the odd shaped bristol to do a series of drawings called "Scraps" Here's my Scraps for Halloween: http://web.mac.com...

Billy Goats Gruff (A work-in-progress)

Hello, Just thought I'd post a current work-in-prog from my illustration portfolio. I'm planning to do a series of fairy-tale inspired illustrations that will be constructed as 3d popup book style. Billy Goats Gruff is the first. http://web.mac.com/markpaulik/iWeb/wanderingpilot/index/94BAB061-9391-...

Thanks.

Wow maybe I should do a whole story on Alphonse. So many people seem to like him (including me).

I'm also glad people are getting the gag. I figure people have at the very least seen the movie Jurassic Park - So they've heard the term Chaos Theory before.

Thanks for the kind words. Glad you like Chumba so far. I letter everything in illustrator. Doing the ballons by hand would drive me insane. Sorry you don't like the font or the balloons. They don't really bother me. I ink with a combination of Pigma pens. Not sure I understand what you mean by insi...

Inking

Traditional. I use Pigma Graphic 1 and Pigma #8's

Long ago I used a brush to ink, but I have always felt I had more control over Pens.

All Greyscale is done in Photoshop using Brush variants I made myself.
