Re: Marooned - A Space Opera in the Wrong Key!
Been awhile since I posted an update, so here's one for you all. Since my last post I've released my second book and moved through a couple episodes. Poor Captain John is still trying to get home to Earth.

Dude, you never cease to amaze me. I'll be grabbing a copy of that massive sketchbook this week. I can't let a piece of inspiration like that pass

Re: Long-form Webcomics... How Can They Be Effective?
I can only say I agree with Steve. There's something about the nature of the internet that lends itself to immediate satisfaction. It's about interacting with things in the moment, as it were. I think that's why longform has more challenges. With comics online it seems people are looking for the qui...

Re: Copper
That's great to hear. I bought the book and loved it, even though I had seen most of them already. My daughters love it too. Glad to hear it will continue.

Looks great, and to jump on the pile, your hand lettering looks 100x better. I understand not wanting to hand letter though, I don't either. I'd say get your handwriting made into a font. Google it, there's lots of ways to do it - many of them free.

Ha, that was great Evan! Really enjoyed it. Cal and Toe are my faves in your universe. I had been wondering what was going to go up in the Short Stories section. Nice work, I love your colors as always.

Re: Order of Tales and other stuff!
Last time I checked, the forums were down. I don't know what Sean is up to, but it seems dead. I'm publishing my story in my upcoming Marooned book.
Can't wait to see yours, looks like it came out sweet. And yeah, you definitely have a style, and it's really great.

Re: A little help - in what original size do you work?
Not a bad way to think about it actually. I have yet to sketch anything out for this, so I have no idea yet. Maybe that should be the first step.

Re: A little help - in what original size do you work?
That does help. My concern with the large size is the scanning, it's going to take like 4 passes. I went through a phase where I wanted to draw things bigger because I thought it was easier, but I'm kind of out of that. I generally buy 11x14 bristol and chop it to size for Marooned. So I could certa...

A little help - in what original size do you work?
I'm about ready to start another short story comic I want to produce. My first foray got kind of screwed up because I was so confused about what size to make the original. It seems like when I research it online, I get different answers. I printed one book using Ka-Blam's guidelines. http://ka-blam....

Re: Order of Tales and other stuff!
Great to hear you finished the short Evan! It looks super sweet. I'm bummed I dragged you into that project and it didn't pan out. On the other hand, you got a nice story out of it! How do you plan on releasing it? I'd love to see it. Order of Tales is kicking butt lately too! The whole bottle woman...
