Since MDHP had some server issues, many people saw the colors as inverted yellow electric-boogaloo, so I've been given permission to post it myself! So, since it's way nicer to be able to read these things all-the-way through on the forum instead of linking out (even though it's old news) I thought ...

Piper's Pet (UPDATE: Now with actual comic!)

http://fc09.deviantart.com/fs44/f/2009/155/4/6/Piper__s_Pet_PREVIEW_by_homarusrex.jpg Hey guys! I know it's been a while since I've posted around here. I've finally graduated and I'm now on the market! I went to NYCC this semester (first comic-con ever!) and picked up a little gig with Dark Horse c...

I know alot has been said about it already...but I couldn't hold it in anymore...I had to add my voice to the din. This is wonderful. I love this comic...there's just such an innocent and peaceful sense to it...and the colors REALLY do it for me. I just spent a little while going through your websit...

Hey guys! Thanks for all the feedback, it's very good to hear and useful too! I Just edited the first 5 pages...some of the color on pages 4 and 5 was driving me NUTS, so I fixed it up! I like the latest addition...it's great fun :) I do agree with Og, that the last one just doesn't seem as confident as the other two. I think that's the perfect way to characterize it. There are some moments where it just *works* Actually, it's not a huge deal, but on the latest comic the creature d...

Silent Comics - Older Work

Hey guys, it's the Alfonse and Domingo guy with some other comic work! It's only this past year that I've started making comics of any kind. I took a class at RISD where I go on comic boom storytelling and had an amazing professor who had us do weekly assignments. I thought it might be worthwhile to...

more!

Hey all! Well, I hope you weren't lying about wanting to see more, because...here's more! I got some time to myself to ink through the next five pages of the story...it's just the lineart and no color yet, but I figured I needed to focus on moving the story forward and worry about the color later, a...

I really love the colors and your painting style. Just one issue: the first image is so gorgeous...the castle is wonderful, but the pugosaurus is really hard to decipher...maybe it's just a vagueness about the landmarks of his form, it's hard to make out what you're looking at. Some clear indication...

Thanks guys! Glad for the feedback! dark: with the lineart, I guess I'm still finding the perfect fit and I suppose you can't please everyone. I'll look into fixing Domingo's mouth! squirpy: thanks! It's nice to know I've tapped a mutual childhood fantasy :) thirdeye: shucks, man, thanks! I wouldn't...
