Re: A comic
Wow, very impressive! You obviously have a great grasp of visual storytelling. This was a tricky one to handle without words and you did it beautifully. Great illustrations, too. If this is your first ever, I can't wait to see when you're an old hand at this! Keep it up, and show us something new so...

Re: Animated Webisodes
Well, yes - that's the other way. Leave it as it is and learn as you go. That's valid. Just remember, you never get a second chance to make a first impression. I feel it's best to lead with your absolute best, because your name becomes synonymous with the quality you produce, and nothing represents ...

Re: OH NO! (Or How My Science Project Destroyed the World)
Geez, Dan - that is phenomenal! I don't know how you get such an authentic retro feel out of this stuff. It doesn't feel like a copy or an homage, but actually recently unearthed art from the Atomic Age.

Thanks, [email protected]! I like it because it's wider, so the art gets to be bigger.

Re: Sketch thread
Been a while since I've commented, Pascal, but this stuff is still just as charming and sweet as ever. Where the Crazy Elephants and Birds were like watching an animated movie, these ones that seem to be inspired by your life are like reading a novel. Very nice, and inspiring as always. Keep it up!

Re: Random covers
They are all really hot, but I like this last one best simply for its graphic punch. Those reds pop our of those blacks like no one's business!
Great stuff. Love the texture.

Re: Animated Webisodes
I see what you're trying to do, and you get points for trying. As you're asking for feedback, I'll offer you some. The film at that link seems to be missing a bit of polish. I could be wrong, but I have a hard time seeing work of this caliber in an animation festival, so if that's your goal, I would...

Re: Long-form Webcomics... How Can They Be Effective?
I think you have to update it on your own schedule. I've played with the notion of updating in chunks, but I think I'd lose a significant portion of the audience who wants to have contact with the property as frequently as possible - daily if they can, weekly if they must. If I waited to post my upd...
