Re: Project Rophelcopter 1-18
Thanks Mr. Average! :o Comic dialogue is something that I've had a hard time adapting to. My writing background is almost exclusively text only, this comic stuff only started recently. Lots to learn making that transition. With these what I've been doing is writing out a lengthy novel-style version ...

Re: Project Rophelcopter 1-18
Thanks a lot!
I'll definitely see about changing out that font. It's easy to forget that people will be reading this thing at normal size, as opposed to zoomed in 300% or something in Photoshop like it usually is when I'm working on it.

Hello out there! out there! out there! there! rr! r! *crickets* Hey Lorenzo. This forum's a ghost town these days, huh? Project Rophelcopter 1-18
Hi all. It's been an awfully long time since I last posted anything of my own here. This is pages 1-18 of what has started to become my own personal Duke Nukem Forever project. I've been working on it for three years and it shows (not in a good way). It has that weird hodgepodge of all kinds of diff...

Awesome. I especially dig the way you've done the frame borders.

Fantastic. Love it. Also, I got the gist of it just fine even without the ability to understand the dialogue.

Re: Are all of you full time artists?
I did freelance illustration full-time for a few months right out of university. The job didn't jive too well with me. I'm just not a business man and the business side is really the make or break issue for freelancing. I did alright but the level of stress involved was too much for me to handle. It...

Man... you've got something quite unique going here. Definitely keep using the texture overlays, they make a great contrast with the sterile nature of your robot characters. Sterile characters are only a bad thing if you fail to use them in interesting ways. All kinds of comedy and drama is possible...

I really like the strip, once I decided the colour wasn't nearly as horrible as I first thought. :D I would love to see more like this, these things where there isn't really a story or a joke, but just being about the motion, the experience. I want to say 'motion study' but that seems a little to d...
