well... I guess to quicken up things you could try to use a less photorealistic (for the shading I mean) style and try to use just a couple of tones, flat shadows (kind of like cell anim look). I also suggest you do some pencils by hand... my experience is that generally for these kind of things doi...

I agree on the mixing thing, I think you should experiment with it. Though I still think your digital work looks way more professional, and better fits your style I think the more is analogue in a drawing, the better it is...

lovely! you may still need some practice to get more control over the strokes, but the style is aready there! And it's a very interesting and personal style... like it very much!

Most of the problems I had while reading this have been already pointed out by others here, I had the problem with the characters being too similar, and some parts where the dialogue is a bit chunky... nonetheless, I think the story works, and is some fun to read.
