Sskessa - Yeah, I think you've hit it on the head for me. That is one area of the story I plan on changing when I do the second run of it. I want it to seem more inviting and perhaps have a greater build up of more cages with more guys. That's a great crit. Mathias - Are you referring to the cage li...

I just checked out your blog and I'm in love with your stuff! I love how expressive your drawings are and the themes that run through your paintings (brains!). Are you painting in real media or digital?

Here's the last installation of this comic. There are probably somethings I will change when I do a second printing for Ape, but I felt it was pretty sucessful as my first mini. If you have any comments or critiques, I'd love to hear them. I hoped you enjoyed reading it! http://lindzart.com/caged/ca...

It was a pleasure meeting you at your booth. I'm sad I didn't get to get one of your books, I'll just have to wait til you make more ;)

Caged (Last Installment)

I've lurked around here for quite sometime, but have never had the courage to post anything up here since this forum bursts with talent. However, I managed to make a mini for Comic-con and people seemed to enjoy it, so I thought I could throw it up here in case people were interested. http://lindzar...

Minicomic questions

Since SDCC is coming up soon, I was considering making some minicomics to hand out to people for fun. My main concern is part of my story uses color for some of the story telling. Since most mini comics tend to be B&W (for obvious cost issues), what have you guys done if you need color in your minic...

dark77778: I think What I need to do is decide how the story is driven. While I have an idea of the the world I want it to take place in, I know that it'll probably be more character driven. Definitely looking at it in that perspective is helpful. Thanks for the input! patrace: I really like the int...

Creative Process

Since I'm in the midst of working out a current project, I was curious to see how others approach creating their works. My question is specific to sequential art but can definitely be applied to other things. So here's the question, when coming up for an idea for a story/comic/graphic novel, what or...

I managed to pick up the soft cover version the other day and I was not disappointed. That prologue definitely tugged at the heart strings a bit there. It's amazing how much of a transformation this has gone through since I first saw a couple of the pages you had finished. Good luck with the next bo...

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I'll definitely look into them.

As for the teacher article, I was pretty appalled with how they were treating the situation and only hope that things resolve themselves.
