Wednesday, July 15th, 2009 by Michel GagneHey folks, Michel Gagne here. My team and I are happy to release a new HD trailer of our upcoming game Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet. I know some of you have been waiting forever – and we still don’t have a release date, but hey, doing a game of that scale independently is no picnic! You can read more on the project at www.InsanelyTwistedShadowPlanet.com.
Flight 5 Nominated for a Harvey Award
Wednesday, July 1st, 2009 by KazuFlight 5 has been nominated for a Harvey Award! Congrats to all the artists who contributed to the project. Our good friends Becky Cloonan, Vasilis Lolos, Gabriel Ba and Fabio Moon have a book nominated in the same category with Pixu. It’s a great book! I wish we didn’t have to compete!
To vote for Flight 5, please visit this link.

Here’s a photo of the new Flight 6 banner for Comic-Con. We’ll be located at a new spot this year: Booth #2329, right in the middle of the bigger comics publishers. Little old us, hangin’ with the big boys, and all we have is a single book series! This should be interesting. I’ll also have plenty of copies of Amulet on hand, as well as previews for Amulet 2. I hope to see you there!
Terrible Yellow Eyes
Monday, June 8th, 2009 by coryHey everyone! Just wanted to let you know about my recent project, Terrible Yellow Eyes .
Terrible Yellow Eyes is a collection of works inspired by the beloved classic, Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak.
Over the past few weeks and months I’ve been displaying a growing collection of works created by invited contributing artists and myself.
We share a love and admiration for Sendak’s work and the pieces we present are done as a tribute to his life and legacy.
Read more about the project here.

A couple of Flight names you may recognize; Ben Hatke, and Israel Sanchez have both contributed to the collection!
(And I’ll see you in Flight 6 with my first story, Walters.)

Evolution of a Page
Tuesday, May 26th, 2009 by joey
Inspired by folks like Flight‘s own Kazu Kibuishi, I’ve put together a step-by-step guide to how I make a page of Cavemen in Space! This covers a lot of ground that has been brought up from time to time around the Flight Forums and elsewhere, so I thought somebody might find it interesting. Take a look!
