So Many Splendid Sundays

There are two great new books which collect material that has served as a life-long inspiration to many of the Flight artists, and should be of interest to anyone who enjoys comics at all. Little Nemo in Slumberland, from Sunday Press Books, presents Windsor McCay’s inimitable fantasies in their original newspaper-size format for the first time in a hundred years, and The Complete Calvin & Hobbes finally assembles Bill Watterson’s magnum opus in a definitive three-volume set. (We hear you can get a pretty good deal on it at CostCo!)
