Hope Larson signs two-book deal with S&S!

From Publishers Weekly:

Hope Larson, the acclaimed cartoonist behind Salamander Dreams and Gray Horses, has joined the ranks of comics artists making the move to big publishing houses, signing a two-book deal with Ginee Seo’s YA imprint at Simon & Schuster.

The first book under the deal will be Chiggers, which Larson describes as a story about two nerdy 13-year-old girls.

New Books by Sonny Liew

Malinky Robot -

Sonny Liew follows up his Xeric-winning debut Malinky Robot with a new installment, entitled “Bicycle”. Also included in the book is “Dead Soul’s Day Out”, his Malinky Robot story from Flight Volume 2. Sonny also illustrated the newly released Wonderland, which seems loosely based on the Disney take on the tale. Clio and Derek met each other in Paris last week in some kind of a lucky trip collision. Derek was here for 4 days while Clio was in the middle of her 2 months European trip. I seized the occasion to go meet them for the first time and went back home with a big happy smile on my face and THIS LITTLE REPORT.
