On Monday Nov. 7, Ryan North and I will be speaking at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario as part of their Creator Series of talks for students and the general public. We’ll be talking about online comics as well as print comics like Flight, answering your questions and all sorts of other fun things. It’s open to the public, so if you’re in the Hamilton area, we would love it if you came. I hear there will be high fives given out in abundance, so it will be an entertaining evening for sure! McMaster University?! Can I get fries with that?
Hahaha. Going to Queen’s University, we actually had a pretty good rivalry going with McMaster (actually, we pretty much had rivalries with all the universities in Ontario, but that’s another story) and made exactly the same jokes. I think one of my favorite slogans for McMaster was “McMaster: Ronald McDonald’s Mistress.”
Gosh, I hope no one from McMaster is reading this and takes offense…
I went to McMaster and it’s definitely not funny.
